Our ability to respond to life's challenges and be our best as leaders and humans depends on the functions of our autonomic nervous systems.
Dear Leaders,
This manual is for humans who want to grow. August 2024 was my 21st season of facilitating embodied leadership groups following the process outlined in this manual and this newsletter, Return to Practice—Embodied Leadership with Chris Wilson.
Before outlining this process, it took five additional years of exploration and practice sitting in groups before I realized we were following a natural series of steps. Since then, I’ve facilitated more than 180 groups with over 400 people and 6000+ hours of 1:1 coaching.
This work has completely changed my life and the lives of many others.
Committing to this training for six months will open the door for your life, work, and relationships to change - for the better.
What would give me the confidence to make a statement like that?
Witnessing it happen.
This work is not an intellectual process, an idea, or even a belief system, but it will change how you see yourself, the world around you, and your challenges.
This work is a practice. It is a doorway into your raw, real life that can only be found inside your body.
When you start practicing, you will automatically start discovering things for yourself. In my direct experience, one realization leads to another and another, and then people realize this is what we are supposed to be doing.
Growing. Intimately communicating with the world around us and ourselves. Once we discover these skills, we realize it’s a natural part of the process to share them with others. This isn’t a moral obligation but a natural adaptive process.
Thank you to everyone who helped by attending the groups and being vulnerable and authentic participants. You are all shining examples of embodied leaders.
Thank you for being here. I hope this work changes your life, work, and relationships as much as it changed mine.
Chris Wilson
